*AS STATED BEFORE iAM NOT A CERTIFIED OR PROFESSIONAL OF ANY KIND.

  1. Ensure your brake lights are working on the rear of the vehicle on the driver side rear as well as the passenger side rear.
  2. Check Windshield Washer fluid (NOT WATER), to ensure your can have a nice clean windshield to ensure that you have a clean view on your travels.
*if you have a rearview window wiper ensure everything works properly and sprays evenly their as well.
  3. Ensure your turn signals are working on the rear and in the front of the vehicle. (Easiest way to check is via the emergency lights.)
  4. Check to ensure your brake lights are working driver side rear, passenger side rear, and third brake light if equipped.

Basic Engine Maintenance

“If you take care of your things they will take care of you……/
If you take care of your car it will take care of you safely.”

  1. Check your vehicle engine oil and keep it changed.  This simply is when the oil cap is removed, the engine oil drain plug is then removed, once fully drained, the engine oil filter is removed. After that a new oil filter is the installed, the drain plug and washer should be replaced if necessary, and then oil should be added to your vehicles specifications. And finally, the engine oil cap would be reinstalled, followed by, an oil dip stick check to ensure proper oil levels.

Engine Oil and Engine Oil Filter should be changed typically ever 5000k miles regardless of not if its full sythethic oil. The harder you drive your car you should automatically expect a higher vehicle overhead, if you drive it casually grocery getter you may be able to surpass 5000 miles. My belief is if you drive casually you should not go over 7000 miles.

  2. Check your vehicle engine coolant. You want to ensure your vehicle coolant is at manufactures levels and type, as well flushing out your radiator from time to time.

Basic Tire Maintenance

“Your TIRES are like your SHOES.
You DO NOT WANT your SHOES to have HOLES, SCARS, DENTS, BUBBLES OR DENTS.
So treat your WHEELS,TIRES, And RIMS the EXACT SAME WAY as your SHOES…..”

  1. You should be rotating your tires before every oil change, or have them rotated during a oil change.
This is so that you tires are being inspected to ensure there is no damage done to the tire, and also being checked to see if they are wearing evenly, as well as, checking the tire tread to visually see how much tire life is left before preparing to order your next set of tires.
  2. After step 1 You should consider an alignment given they have places that have deals like these.
  3. Keeping up with this routine maintenance also allows for the vehicle to remain in greater condition for a longer time, while also providing the owner with a longer lasting vehicle and even possibly savings.

Level 2 Engine Maintenance

“You want your LUNGS and your HEART to pump well.

So your AIR FILTER and SPARK PLUGS need to be clean as well.”

About every 10000k miles > 15000k miles

  1. Change out your air filter, or upgrade to a reusable (cleanable) filter (keep backups for while the other is cleaning).
  2. Change your old spark plugs to new ones ensuring they all be replaced at the same time (you can learn to change them yourself, or you can get someone else to do it for you).
